1.) Min Height 2 M.
2.) Dual Axle with its own brakes.
3.) The Rear Door must be both open as a door and as a ramp or the ability to install a ramp for my Wheelchair.
4.) The ramp has a secondary requirement in that it needs to be accessible to unload tyres if I need to do a roadside change.
5.) Must have space on the roof for a Solar Panel so the van has its own electric system.
6.) Its own electrical System to power the pump on the Diesel tank, charge my chair and recharge the 18-volt batteries that run all the tools we are carrying.
7.) Ability to carry a wall-mounted rack holding two spare tyres for the van and two spares for the trailer.
9.) Storage for Tools, Spare Parts, Emergency Equipment and Stuff it’s easier to take with me than buy along the way.
Boy did we get lucky, we found a UK company called Debon that makes exactly what we want, it is called the 550XL Box Trailer and has a rear door that both opens as a door and drops as a ramp.
1.) We will need to upgrade the Gas Struts to 12v Power Gas Struts but other than that it’s everything we need and possibly a bit more.
2.) We have our own power for the trailer with a 100-watt solar Panel, Charging an 80 Amp Lithium Battery supplying 12 volts and a 1000 amp Inverter to supply 230-volt power for the chair and tool battery charging systems.
3.) Has multi-position clamp-down systems.
4.) The Main Side door gives ease of access to everything I may need without opening the main doors.
5.) Added Locks to secure all doors.
6.) Amazing Side Space for Sponsor names.
